The class that I would add to our curriculum would be a Cosmetology Class for students who are interested into doing hair styling, nail art etc. The class would either meet 3rd or 5th period in my classroom each day. Both girls and boys are welcome to sign up for the class, everyone is welcome. What the students will learn are how to properly cut hair, how to learn to do nail art in the way you're supposed to, learn how to use the right amount of facial make-up on others. These students will enjoy the class because it's fun, and if you ever want to own your own business into the Cosmetology Industry .. than you're in the right place! Everyday when these students enter the classroom they will get into their tables with their partners that are assigned at that table, they are required to get all their equipment ready before everything begins. To show that the students were paying attention they will have to give me at least 3 examples on what they have learned during the class period and show me how to do that one specific topic that they are referring to. Homework will be given at times when it's required to. For homework, these students will complete a worksheet and or write an essay about what they have learned today or write an essay about reasons and steps on how to do a specific topic about stuff referring to our Cosmetology Class.
